Water Resistant Fabric At Tessitura

Following two years of research, Italian textile manufacturer Tessitura Taiana has developed its first water-resistant fabric prototypes, coined Lot ‘O’ Dry Amazing Performance, for spring/summer 2011. According to the company, fabrics infused with this technology—which can be used for swimwear and other apparel—boast low water permeability, long high moisture management, and long durability, and are made in Italy in compliance with environmental and health regulations. Interfilière Expects 11,500 Attendees


Organizers of the upcoming Interfilière show expect a slight increase over last year’s attendance of 11,066, but visitors should not expect the show to be up to its January 2008 numbers. Eurovet is projecting that this year’s show, which is scheduled to take place from January 23rd to 25th in Paris in conjunction with its Salon International de la Lingerie event, will see approximately 11,500 visitors; an increase of approximately 4 percent.
