Target To Open 26 Stores


(Filed Under Fashion News). Target is opening 26 new stores this Sunday, October 11th, which the company reported will create more than 5,000 new jobs. 21 of the new stores will be general merchandise stores, which measure at approximately 127,000-square-feet, while five will be SuperTargets, which measure at approximately 186,000-square-feet. General merchandise location will be in states including Missouri; Illinois; South Dakota; California; Pennsylvania; and Massachusetts, among others. The SuperTargets will be located in Highlands Ranch, Colo.; Tucson North, Ariz.; Hoover West, Ala.; Mesquite, Tex.; and Tulsa South, Okla.

As of Oct. 11th Target will run 1,743 stores in 49 states nationwide, as well as Target.com.
