(Filed Under Fashion News). Leg Avenue has announced plans to close its New York City showroom on December 1st of this year. According to the company, this is due to “the expansion of [its] outside sales force over the last year.”
“With our ever expanding sales team, both here in the U.S. and through our international distributors, we are able to go directly to our customers,” Patty Gatto, sales manager for Leg Avenue, said. “The showroom acted as a satellite office, but more than ever before Leg Avenue is able to reach out to customers directly, whether it’s in their stores or through our private shows. Our rapidly growing lines have created a need to get concepts, samples and information out to the customers with a greater sense of urgency and creating a sales team armed with the most up to date information is the key to further growth.”
Michael Zeligman, former manager of the NYC showroom, will take over sales for the southern territory of the United States. “Michael has been and integral part of our family for years and a customer favorite,” Gatto commented. “We are excited to have him out in the field.”
