(Filed Under Fashion News). On the evening of Wednesday, December 9th, key industry players once again packed inside the National Arts Club in New York City for The Underfashion Club’s annual holiday party. Among the many in attendance were senior-level staff members from Wacoal; Rago; Carole Hochman Design Group; Calvin Klein Underwear; Macra Lace; SaraMax; Maidenform; and Victoria’s Secret, as well as design students from the Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T).
As it has for the previous 26 years, The Underfashion Club presented local charities Friends of Saint Francis, City Meals on Wheels and The New York Foundling Home with donation checks at the event. Additionally, the organization asked each guest to bring wrapped gift for an infant, child or pre-teen for distribution through the New York Foundling Home.
Another highlight of the night included the annual festive holiday panty contest, which Wacoal won for its “A Touch of Mink” undergarment. Victoria’s Secret took home second place for its “The Angel” design. Partygoers were treated to a bottomless open bar, buffet and music courtesy of DJ Mouse.
