(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Donna Di Capri is ringing in the New Year with more appealing packaging, according to Latrina Pugh, marketing director of the sexy lingerie company. In place of its current plastic polybag packaging, it is transitioning to a rectangular hourglass-shaped box made from cardboard, which includes a picture and description of the style found inside. All of the lingerie set to launch in January 2010 will be packaged in the new design.
Pugh remarked about the new packaging; “We felt that switching over to a more attractive box would be efficient for both retailers and their customers. For example, the construction of the box makes it easy for customers to grab and handle, and view information about the product.
“The formation of colors are also very appealing, bringing the customer’s eye back around to the design.”
The company’s packaging will continue to feature its signature paisley-pink background.
Donna Di Capri can be found at specialty retail stores nationwide including Déjà Vu Adult Emporium in Las Vegas; and the Adult Factory Warehouse and Oh Cheri in Sylmar and Clayton, California, respectively. For further information, call (213) 747-0600, or e-mail Latrina@DonnaDiCapri.com.
