(Filed Under wholesale Loungewear News). Zinke—an Oklahoma-based design company that entered the intimate apparel market last January with the launch of its spring 2010 collection—will launch its second collection for summer 2010, followed closely by its fall 2010 collection. In the new collections, the company is adding loungewear and robes to the basic lingerie assortment seen in its debut line. But despite this category expansion, the company “continues [its] dedication to daily luxuries,” reported Kristin Davis, sales manager of Zinke.
Running from $50 to $150, the summer collection features nine silk designs including a robe; chemise; halter; boyshort; and babydoll available in lavender, violet, peach and goldenrod shades. Davis named the Day Dream Chemise and the Tea Party Halter as standouts in the collection, which will hit stores in May.
Titled Love Letters, the 16-piece fall collection “was inspired by the notion of a mysterious, provocative lover who is just out of reach,” the company said. Davis described styles—which retail for $60 to $350—as contemporary and luxurious. Included are a variety of loungewear silhouettes in cashmere blends and hammered silk options including tops, lounge shorts and a robe, as well as chemises; bralettes with panties and halters. Davis said about the collection; “Zinke continues their mastery of the bralette design with new, contemporary takes on its practical comfort.
“The Stargazer, Wanderlust and Twilight bralette feature luxurious details [such as] lace edge, dotted mesh overlay and silk charmeuse in ravishing colors […] the Raven chemise offers a striking silhouette in a contemporary design of silk chiffon and dotted mesh. Zinke introduces high-end loungewear pieces in a hammered silk that epitomizes luxury.”
