(Filed Under wholesale Costume News). At the 8th annual Spud Awards this December, Hasbro awarded Disguise Halloween Costume Company as the “Soft Goods Licensee of the year” for its line of children’s and adult’s Halloween costumes inspired by Hasbro’s Transformers and G.I. Joe properties.
“We are thrilled to receive this prestigious award from Hasbro in recognition of our relationship and the success of our product line,” Joe Anton, co-president of Dsiguise, commented. “The Transformers and G.I. Joe Halloween costume lines were top sellers for Halloween 2009 and we are looking forward to expanding our Hasbro-licensed offerings for the whole family with new lines based on beloved Hasbro brands for Halloween 2010. Hasbro’s robust roster of properties is a wonderful source for imaginative costumes that bring iconic characters to life to delight young and old alike.”
As previously reported in BODY, Disguise plans to launch a new line for next Halloween based on Hasbro’s games collection, including Candyland, Twister, Monopoly and Scrabble.
