(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Eurovet, the organizing company of the 47th edition of Paris’ Salon International de la Lingerie—which will be held from January 23rd through 25th at Paris-Expo, Porte de Versailles—is expecting 500 brands to exhibit at this installation, including Chantelle; Aubade; Simone Pérèle; Millesia Roberto Cavalli; Myla; Carol Malony; and Olaf Benz, among others. The company anticipates approximately 20,000 visitors to attend the show. It reported that 20,254 visitors came to last year’s event. It anticipates approximately 60 percent of attendees to be from abroad compared to the 61 percent it reported last year.
Exhibitors will display in Pavilions 3 and 4 of the venue for the first time, and will be divided into five categories including Be Essential, comprised of corseterie, underwear, stockings and tights; Be Chic, comprised of designers and luxe collections; Be Spicy, comprised of young designers and ‘avant garde’ collections; as well as the men’s category Be Men, and the loungewear, homewear and nightwear category Be Lounging.
New at the show will be two style forums presented by Nelly Rodi and Carlin International. This year’s runway show will be based around the theme “Paris through Chics and Hypes.”
