Affinitas Enters Full-Bust Market

Affinitas Intimates is entering the full busted market for fall 2010 with the launch of its new line Affinitas Parfait, which the company debuted at Paris’ Salon de la Lingerie this month, and will also show at both CurvExpo shows in February. All bras are available in sizes 30 through 40, D through G, with matching bottoms sized XS through 2X. The company is targeting department stores, e-tailers, specialty boutiques and catalogs with “accessible” retail prices of $14 through $48. The line’s debut launch includes five groups featuring four to five styles each.

According to the company, Affinitas Parfait is geared toward the 18 through 30-year-old woman with “fun, flirty and fashion-conscious styles designed in both fit and appearance to beautiful embrace and enhance (not bury and conceal!) full-busted women’s curves.”

Cut and sew bras are available in half-padded, padded and wire bra styles with two through three hook closures, body elastic, side boning and power netting “for superior support, as well as a U-shaped comfort back to prevent straps from slipping.” Parfait’s bottoms consist of boyshort, high-waisted brief, bikini, thong and tanga styles with plush waist and leg elastics, as well as fold-over lace in select styles. The company described styles as ranging from everyday to special occasion.

Colors featured in the line include cream, nude, grey, peach, lilac, red, black, midnight blue and orchid.

In other news, the company has launched a line of packaged panties that it is calling “fun, flirty and affordable” for the upcoming fall season. The line made its debut at the Salon International de la Lingerie show, and the company will also show it at both CurvExpo shows next month.

Three-packs of panties retail for $28 and are designed to be arranged in counter displays holding 26 packs. They run in one-size-fits-most. They are available in hipster and “VPL [visible panty line]-eliminating” thong styles, both constructed from stretch lace and mesh. The company described the line as “perfect for gift-giving occasions like holiday, birthday and Valentine’s day, bachelorette parties and gift bags, or just a well deserved present to yourself!”
