(Filed Under wholesale Shapewear News). Shapeez is adding some lingerie inspiration to its bra and shapewear line with the debut of its Lacee collection at next month’s CurveNV show. The collection features a medium/firm control camisole with molded underwire cups, adjustable straps and “beautiful” scalloped lace overlay on the cups and hem “so you’ll only need one garment to get the look of two,” the company said.
“[It is the] all-in-one undergarment you’ll want to show. With the Lacee you have your innerwear and outerwear in one garment.”
The camisole is engineered using Shapeez patented “smooth back” design, which the company contends eliminates back bulges and the muffin top while smoothing and slimming the wearer’s torso. It is constructed from four-way stretch, moisture wicking Nylon/Lycra “for all day comfort,” and is available in shades of black, brown and white. It runs in Shapeez’ sizes of XS through 1X, which fit cup sizes AA through DDD. The company will announce the garment’s price at CurveNV.
In other news, Shapeez has expanded its Canadian presence with the hiring of sales representatives Thelma Berry of H.R. Berry & Associates and Suzie Lefrancois.
The company described Berry as one the longest-operating sales representatives in Canada with over 25 years of experience selling lingerie and swimwear on the eastern coast of the country. Her territory encompasses New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Novia Scotia and Newfoundland. Lefrancois has been selling lingerie and yoga wear in Quebec over the past 15 years.
“We are proud to have Thelma Berry and Suzie Lefrancois join our Canadian sales team,” the company said.
Shapeez continues to seek sales reps from Colorado to California.
Shapeez merchandise can be found at specialty stores throughout North America including Saxon Kent in Orange, Conn; Midwestern luxury department store Von Maur; Larks and Nightingales in New London, NH; and Bra Tenders in New York City. For further information, call (877) 360-8426.
