According to several reports, W Hotels has hired stylist Amanda Ross to fill its new position of Fashion Director for the luxury hotel chain’s designer boutiques. Currently, the W Hotel store carries merchandise including robes for men and slippers and swimsuits for women at high-end prices like $129 for a Lisa Curran bikini, and $348 for an Extreme Wow cashmere robe. According to a February 4th, 2010 article in The Wall Street Journal, this ends the hotel’s two year search for someone to fill this position.

Ross is best known for her work as a stylist for NBC’s “Lipstick Jungle,” and has also worked in similar capacities for a number of other television shows and magazines. W Hotels is expected to officially announce her hiring on February 11th, the first day of New York Fashion Week.
