(Filed Under Fashion News). Graduating students at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City are hard at work designing garments for the school’s annual end-of-year runway show, “The Future of Fashion,” slated for the evening of for April 26th, 2010.
Calvin Klein, an FIT alumni, is among the noted designers who will serve as a mentor and critic to students throughout the spring semester, ultimately choosing the garments he deems most exceptional for special citation at the show in the intimate apparel, special occasion, knitwear, menswear, childen’s wear and sportswear categories. Kate Betts, style editor of Time, Inc, will also serve as a judge.
