(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). Steve Kimberling, former vice president of Humboldt Merchant Services, is no longer with the company, where he worked for 13 years. Kimberling reported that he left the company to launch Intimate Payments, a credit card merchant service provider focused on the intimate apparel industry.
“I have enjoyed my time in the intimates industry and the friends and clients I have met along the way,” he said. “Launching Intimate Payments allows additional controls in marketing, pricing and services I am now able to offer to the retailers, manufacturers and distributors in the industry. In addition to traditional credit and debit card processing, Intimate Payments will offer services such as Gift Card Processing, Merchant Cash Advance, Terminal Deployment, ACH/eCheck Processing, and much more.”
Kimberling first became involved in the intimate apparel financing business five years ago. He launched intimate payments at this April’s ILS.
According to an employee at Humboldt Merchant Services, to her knowledge the company has not hired a replacement for Kimberling to take over the intimate apparel portion of the business.
