Delta Apparel, an activewear manufacturer, reported a 26 percent growth in sales during its third quarter ended March 27, 2010, compared to the previous year’s third quarter. Sales totaled $107.9 million, an increase of $22.3 million from the previous year’s third quarter, and a record for the company. Activewear segment sales grew 15.7 percent, to $61.7 million.
During the nine months ended March 27, 2010, sales increased 19.1 percent, to $298.2 million.
