Safety Commission Recalls Children’s Sleepwear

(Filed Under wholesale Sleepwear News). The U.S. Product Safety Commission has announced the voluntary recall of approximately 9,200 Roberta Roller Rabbit children’s kimono robes, lounge sets and slumber short sets due to flammability risk. According to the Product Safety Commission, the recalled sleepwear fails the meet the federal children’s flammability standard, posing a burn hazard to children. At this time, no consumers have reported injuries from the styles.

The recall involves garments sold in children’s sizes 0 (12 months) to 10 at Roberta Roller Rabbit retail stores in New York City, East Hampton, NY and Santa Monica, Calif. from January 2005 through February 2010 for $50. They were manufactured in India. The Product Safety Commission has advised customers to stop using the recalled robes and lounge sets and return them to Roberta Roller Rabbit locations for store credit.
