(Filed Under Fashion News). Eurovet has released exhibitor and trend projections for its upcoming Interfilière show, which is scheduled to take place from September 4 through 6, 2010, at the Paris Expo’s Porte de Versailles in Pavilion Three. This installation of Interfilière, a leading trade fair for lingerie and beachwear fabrics, will showcase lingerie collections for winter 2010/2011, and a preview of beachwear fabrics for summer 2012.
According to the company, 300 exhibitors are scheduled to show. In addition to past exhibitors, 10 new companies are planning to show their fabrics, including Atelier Caliste-Le Gall from France, specializing in hand-painted and other designs for lingerie and ready-to wear; Assatex from Mexico, known for its elastic knit fabrics for lingerie, activewear and swimwear; and TrimLace from the United Kingdom, which specializes in narrow-width fabrics for sport and leisure, and lace for lingerie. For the first time, there will be a “Short Cut” area at the show’s general forum entrance, where buyers can purchase fabrics and accessories in small quantities.
Once again, visitors will receive the Evolution Trends guide upon registering for the show. Among those trends organizers expect to be see is intimate apparel that crosses into outerwear through corsetry and loungewear, which has experienced increasing prevalence in recent seasons.
In colors and fabrics, organizers expect shades inspired by streetwear fashions, including ochre, orange and blue, as well as “sophisticated and precious materials, especially silks.” Organizers expect beachwear to be a major category at the show, with design from exhibitors including Eurojersey, Taiana Virgilio and Est, among others.
