(Filed Under Textiles News). Textile manufacturer Tessitura Taiana will showcase two new Spring/Summer 2010 collections, Cult and Vanity, at the Milano Unica and Premier Vision shows in February 2009.
The Cult collection consists of Aloe Vera treated and cotton-stretch fabrics with micro and macro check-patterns, creating “an almost playful and fun approach.” Colors include yellows, oranges, and reds, as well as “water-inspired” blues and whites similar to those used in the company’s Taiana Blu collection. At the shows the company will also present a group of items using ink-jet printing technologies that incorporate “fake water stain” patterns.
The Vanity collection has a “California feel,” with the three multi-dimensional color themes of oranges, purples and fuchsias, and soft shades. Fabrics include Tisana, a shiny yarn dyed with water repellent, Chop, made from 100 percent silk, the microfiber Tappo, and the taffeta Orvil.
Tessitura Taiana is an Italy-based textile manufacturer for the intimate apparel industry. For more information, call: 39 0241540103 or email umberto@amatostudio.191.it.
