(Filed Under Fashion News). Leg Avenue has introduced a new logo and re-vamped website designed to better reflect the company’s image as a sexy costume and lingerie company.

According to the company, LegAvenue.com includes a redesigned search tool, more detailed product categories and other user-friendly features. “The new website has a fresh, exciting look that is accessible, consumer friendly and clearly represents the Leg Avenue brand,” Lisa Griffin, marketing manager of the company, said. “With our ever expanding lines, it is important that the new site represent each line’s individual personality, from the adventurous pirate images on the costume page to the soft, romantic feel of the bridal page. The new website presents a variation on a theme for each product category so that consumers get a sense of Leg Avenue’s expanding line, while at the same time maintaining the consistent cutting edge style that Leg Avenue is known for.”

The corporate logo also sports a refreshed look. “The original form of our logo was determined in 1999 and represented our origins as a hosiery company,” Melody Tsai, creative director of the company, said. “The logo evolved as the company evolved, which led to the more structured design we’ve been using for the past three years. The new logo is so much more feminine and expresses the company’s transformation and expansion into multiple lines.”

The company will phase in the new logo for all women’s products beginning in 2011. It will maintain the current logo for the newly expanded Leg Avenue men’s costume line, which it named as a bestseller.
