The Swiss brand—known for its undergarments for men, women and children—is launching its first collection of women’s outerwear this August, consisting of knit pullovers, cardigans, basic tops and shawls for autumn.winter. Retail prices for tops will range from $69.90 to $249, equivalent to approximately $60.17 to $214 at the current exchange rate. Shawls retail from 59.90 to 119 Swiss Francs, equivalent to approximately $52 to $102 at the current exchange rate.

According to Calida, adding new product segments is part of the company’s strategic direction. This has included adding swimwear three year’s ago, followed by the addition of beachwear this season. No word, however, on any company plans to expand it’s brand, well known throughout Europe, into the U.S. market.
