(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Fashion Ribbon is debuting two new bra and panty collections this February at the Curve New York show.
"Studio by Pascale Madonna" and “Pascale Madonna Paris" will hit stores for the fall 2009, starting in July. The company will host a preview at their 33rd street showroom the last week of January and first week of February. According to company president Joel Orenstein, both collections follow the company's motto: "fit and fashion, not fashion and fit."
“Studio by Pascale Madonna” will run at wholesale prices of $7-$9 and retail prices of under $20 in cup sizes 32A-40DD. It will be sold at department stores in the United States as well as Europe.
"The Studio collection has a French and an American feel and is geared toward the mass market," Orenstein said, "We have decided to go into a very aggressive position in terms of marketing with the November hire of sales director Walter Osband. This is a very aggressively priced collection."
“Pascale Madonna Paris” will run at wholesale prices of $23-$35, and retail prices of $55-$95. Geared toward the "Neiman to Nordstrom" market, it will run in the same sizes as the studio brand, and will also have "a French and American flavor and a fabulous design level."
"It will include a classic replenishment stock at the core level. It will be very similar to a basic cup, but with fashionable lace embroidery on the cups as well as the wings," he said.
"I've always found the intimate apparel and accessories market to be extremely important because they provide something special for a woman that is not costly. A woman can spend $55 on a bra and feel good about herself without breaking the bank."
