(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). H&M is continuing its international expansion by opening its first store in Turkey this fall. Slated for a November launch, the store’s sales area will measure 2,300-square-meters, equivalent to approximately 7,546-square-feet. It will be located in Istanbul.
“We are pleased to open our first store in Turkey. It is an interesting market with a large, young and fashion-conscious population, which offers great potential for future expansion,” Karl-Johan Persson, chief executive officer of H&M, said in a statement.
Upon opening in Turkey, H&M will have stores in 38 countries.
