(Filed Under Wholesale Swimwear News). Calixta is introducing the U.S. market to its “Latin American Essence” at SwimShow 2011, scheduled for July 17 through 20, 2010 in Miami Beach. This will mark the Colombian swimwear brand’s first time showing in the U.S.
Calixta’s collection of 92 styles is available in sizes S through L, with wholesale prices ranging from $39 to $50. In addition to bathing suits, the collection includes cover-ups, hats and sandals. Styles fall under groups inspired by South American and Caribbean cities, such as the Cartagena, which is “full of bright color,” said Natalia Velasquez, creative director of Calixta, and the Caribe, with hand-sewn embroidery and “accessories that reflect the brand’s sophistication.”
