(Filed Under wholesale Men's Underwear News). AussieBum may have introduced the market to the latest eco-friendly fabrication. The Australian men’s underwear company has launched the Banana Range, consisting of two styles made from fiber from the bark of the banana plant blended with organic cotton. The range includes a brief retailing for $25.07 and a hipster retailing for $27.42, with both styles available exclusively in white. They are produced in Australia.
The company claims to be the first men’s underwear company to use banana fiber in its product. “AussieBum has a responsibility to continually research and develop new fabric technologies,” Sean Ashby, founder of AussieBum, said in a statement. “Banana fiber characteristically enjoys good luster, is lightweight, offers strong moisture absorption and is considered one of the most eco-friendly fibers in the world today.”
U.S. retailers carrying AussieBum include Just One La in Los Angeles, Calif. and Male UWear in Dallas, Tex., among others. For further information, e-mail Sean@AussieBum.com.
