As part of the company’s customer education initiative begun in May, Jan Swan, vice president of sales, is holding a shapewear seminar at the Dallas Market Center Show on September 13 at 12pm.

Swan will cover topics including learning the difference between different shapewear products on the market, fitting shapewear properly and what styles work best per body type, determining a store’s shapewear stock needs, and tools for closing a shapewear sale.

“With shapewear becoming an ever increasing market, we find it imperative to educate stores as to their options when it comes to stocking a store with a selection of shapewear,” Swan said. “It’s a basic product that, when utilized correctly, can generate an additional avenue of revenue for the store.”

In addition to the Dallas Market Center’s September show, Julie France is exhibiting at 10 shows in coming months, including CurveNY, CurveLV and The Bridal Market.
