Private Arts is a new Los Angeles-based line of intimates, which features colorful, original prints that are applied to the outside of a finished garment, creating a unique “hand-made” look. A small group of styles were on display in the Wells Intimates booth at August’s CurveNV. Bottoms wholesale for $13, bandeaus for $12 and thongs for $10. Michelle Alexander is art director, Jeffeny Hughes design director and Meaghan Walker handles business and design. According to the company, styles are already in a number of mostly California boutiques including Jenny G in Long Beach, Anonymous in Los Angeles, Déjà Vu in Las Vegas, Fanny Wrappers in San Luis Obispo, Jolie Femme in Del Mar and Tink in Palm Dessert.
