(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Fair Verona (as in the setting for Romeo and Juliet) launched, at Las Vegas Curve (August 17th), its small collection of romantic intimates that stood out with their strikingly original designs.
We especially liked something they call a silk jumpsuit: a sage-colored creation which features long sleeves, seven crystal buttons down the front, and a bottom that rides high on the butt. It retails for $265
The Bellini is a similar design in gauzy silk chiffon, which comes in periwinkle and pink sapphire and retails for $240. We also liked their ruffled booty short, in silk chiffon and silk lace, with two crystal buttons in front.
In all there are only 11 styles in the line for now.
The designer is Misha Myers. Daniel Oneill has created a striking group of photos that give a woodsy, Maid Marian feel to the catalogs and website.
Myers noted that she was in Verona when she was inspired to create the collection, which is based in Santa Barbara. Many designers insist that their intimates can be worn as outerwear. Myers pointed out that most of her creations could not be worn as undergarments, nor even as sleepwear, because of the delicacy of the fabrics as well as the large buttons and strings of beads on some garments.
Then again, who would want to put anything on top of these designs.
