(Filed Under Wholesale Swimwear News). Renluka Maharaj started Bitchinboxers last fall to sell boxer shorts for women, but has expanded her line to include several new silhouettes, such as silk charmeuse robes ($100 wholesale), three-pocket cotton sleep shirts in gauze plaid ($25) with matching shorts or knickers ($16), and Kama Sutra T-shirts (our favorites have shadowy depictions of the sex act somewhat discreetly printed on the inside of the back of the garment).
This August’s MAGIC was Maharaj’s trade show debut; the company currently sells its products on its website and in a Boulder, Colo. store, Common Era. She sees her line as “a little different, a little rebellious,” adding that “clothes can be sexy and practical at the same time.”
