(Filed Under Wholesale Swimwear News). Mare D’Arame, an Italian beach and swimwear tradeshow held in Florence by Toscanadamare, a local nonprofit organization, rung in a successful third edition from July 17 through 19, according to organizers. Driven by growth among international attendees, 6,735 visitors came to the show compared to the 4,457 who visited last year, organizers said.
According to Alessandro Legnaioli, president of Toscanadamare, Mare D’Arame continues to increase in popularity because of its dedication to the beachwear industry. “[The show] is fostered by the need to provide Italy and especially Florence with a trade fair dedicated to the beachwear that really matters, conceived by trade operators for trade operators,” he said in a statement.
The next edition is slated for July 16 through 18, 2011.
