(Filed Under wholesale Mastectomy News). Armed with 35 years of post-mastectomy experience, Amoena is taking its bra design to the mainstream lingerie market. The company has launched Amoena Mia, a full-cup bra line infused with the company's Comfort+ technology, which is designed to equalize the wearer's temperature. Amoena Mia runs in sizes 32 through 46, C through H, and retails for $64 through $74.
According to Lesley Pfitzenmayer, senior product manager of intimate apparel for Amoena, the company was inspired by its customers to enter the general market. “We know how to fit full-cup women better than anyone because of our years experience taking care of women's wellness needs,” she said.
“We decided to take the benefits of Amoena's patented technology to mainstream women because our customers have told us how much Amoena products have impacted their recovery and their lives in an extraordinary way, especially Comfort+ […] Amoena Mia is the only luxury bra on the market that offers this temperature equalizing feature. We infused Comfort+ in the zones where women need it most - the center front, under her bust and in the side slings.”
In 2011, the company plan to incorporate new styles and colors into Amoena Mia, and expand its sizing to include I and J cups. Retailers carrying the line include Lady Grace Intimate Apparel stores in Massachusetts and Von Maur department stores throughout the midwest. The line will launch internationally next year.
