(Filed Under wholesale Maternity News). While Emily Lingerie will roll out new styles for spring/summer 2011, it will not drop the old.
“We definitely will have [our] Lilies and Butterflies range in the collection,” Lara Mcmanmon, buying assistant for the British producer of maternity and nursing lingerie, said. “Lilies & Butterflies is one of our best sellers. The name of the collection is totally self-explanatory; a lilies and butterflies microfiber print [and] grey lace trim with pretty velvet bows.”
Mcmanmon described the new collections for SS ’11 as designed to offer pregnant and nursing women comfort, fit and flattering cuts, with sizes running from 32 to 40, B through G for soft cups, and 30 to 40, B through J for underwire bras. Styles will retail for £8.60 for briefs, £16 to £18 for soft cup bras, and £19 to £21 for underwire bras. These prices are equivalent to approximately $13 to $33 at the current exchange rate.
Mcmanmon added that pieces will incorporate vintage-inspired, everyday and modern designs to suit a variety of tastes.
With an established presence in Great Britain at major retailers including Asos, John Lewis and Figleaves.com, as well as at specialty boutiques, Mcmanmon said the company is ready to bring its signature style to the North American market.
Emily Barnes founded Emily Lingerie as Emily B Maternity in 2002.
