(Filed Under Wholesale Swimwear News). Agua Bendita Swimwear, a Colombian brand with an office in Fort Lauderdale, FL., has launched an advertising campaign featuring supermodels Bar Refaeli and Candice Swanepoel.
The campaign consists of photographs of the models clad in Agua Bendita’s On the Rocks, Black Tie and Happy Hour 2011 collections. The company premiered the collections at July’s Miami Swimshow followed by August’s PROJECT show, and will also exhibit at Mode City in Paris this September.
2011 styles wholesale from $80 to $180, and run in sizes S through L. The line encompasses over 75 styles including bikinis; pareos; accessories; tunics; dresses; boots; and sandals.
Camilo Mendez with Agua Bendita USA reported that the On The Rocks collection is defined by its “hip, desert-[inspired] colors,” while Black Tie has darker colors and more conservative, sophisticated designs for the mature customer seeking a mix of classic and trendy.
In contrast, Happy Hour’s “flirty, sexy, skimpy and fun” styles offer bold colors and fabric combinations. According to Mendez, the company targets body-conscious women from 15 to 50-years-old. It is sold in high-end specialty boutiques, swimwear stores and online retailers.
