(Filed Under wholesale Plus Size News). JMS/Just My Size is inviting bloggers to talk about fashion, size and women.
The plus-size intimate apparel, hosiery, activewear and apparel brand, which is owned by Hanesbrands Inc., is hosting the first JMS Style Symposium, running from October 19 through 20 in New York City. The brand invited bloggers from About.com’s plus-size section, The Budget Fashionista; The Curvy Fashionista; Daily Venus Diva; Fab Finds Under 50; Fat Chic; and other plus-size fashion forums to attend the event. It will center around a discussion about the impact of plus-size fashion, and will culminate in a runway fashion show of JMS styles for holiday, spring and summer.
“For more than 25 years, JMS has established a unique and strong bond with our consumers energized by ongoing conversations about her fit and style needs,” Janet Freedman, creative director of JMS/Just My Size, said. “The Style Symposium is our newest tool for enhancing the dialogue by recognizing the important role that online resources such as blogs play in shaping how women feel about fashion.”
Walmart stores carry JMS outerwear, while retailers nationwide, including Kmart and Amazon.com, carry the brand’s intimate apparel and hosiery. Styles retail for under $25 and are available in bra sizes 38 through 48, B through DD, and apparel sizes XL through 6X.
