(Filed Under wholesale Dancewear News). Alan Breeden, sales manager of Roma Costume/Bikini Corp., called the company’s 2011 streetwear and clubwear line “an improvement over last year’s line, with great quality, more accurate sizing and superior styling. The response thus far has been very positive.”
One of the changes Roma made with this line was to offer styles in sizes S/M and M/L instead of the One-Size system used by many dancewear and clubwear designers, including Roma in previous seasons. “We’ve decided to offer two sizes because of the popularity of our styles, especially our dresses,” Breeden said.
The line, which Roma introduced at this September’s ILS, will ship in mid-November. Included are 54 new styles, including 15 sequined dresses, pants and chap sets, as well as silhouettes embellished with zippers and other hardware. Wholesale prices run from $14.50 to $65.
Some of the retailers who have picked up the line include the Romantix location in Upland, Calif., Yandy.com and Musotica.com.
