(Filed Under Fashion News). RadiciSpandex Corp., maker of RadElast spandex fiber, announced in late December that it is selling one of the two buildings adjacent to its Gastonia, N.C. headquarters in an effort to improve cost efficiencies.
“Selling one of the buildings in Gastonia will generate cash to invest into R&D and will enhance efficiency improvements,” said Marty Moran, C.E.O of RadiciSpandex. “In addition, the current warehouse space is underutilized since we have focused on improving our planning and logistics while reducing inventory levels to better serve our customer base.”
The company’s distribution center, corporate office and finishing operations will remain in Gastonia.
RadiciSpandex Corp. is the U.S. subsidiary of RadiciGroup, an international fibers conglomerate based in Italy and employing more than 3,200 employees worldwide.
