(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). For the spring/summer season, Oh La La Cheri has introduced a collection that is both sensual and mainstream; with looks that fit into specialty boutiques and upscale adult stores, according to Sarah Konkel, account executive of the label.
“We are seeing a lot more lingerie boutiques picking up the line because they want something sexy and fun at a moderate price point as an alternative to some of the more expensive European brands,” Konkel said. “Some of the stores we do a good amount of work with are G Boutique in Chicago, The Velvet Lily in Philadelphia and Beso Fine Lingerie in Laredo, Tex.”
The collection, shipping immediately and in April, and featured in a 32-page catalog, is slightly larger than last spring’s because of an increased selection of corsets. “We tried one corset for fall/winter 2010, and it did extremely well so we added a few more,” Konkel said. “They can be worn either as lingerie or as outerwear with a skirt or pants.”
Also included are bras wholesaling from $10 to $14, panties from $6 to $8, and chemises and corsets from $18 to $24. “We try to keep retail prices at between $40 and $60 for a set,” Konkel said.
Bras are available in sizes 32B through 38DD, while additional pieces run from S through XXL. Due to the success of its XXL size, which Oh La La Cheri added for fall/winter 2010, Konkel expects the label to continue to expand its size range.
