(Filed Under Wholesale Swimwear News). Paolita Swimwear, a British label launched at last September’s Mode City, joined Ara Jo, Paul Castelloe and other designers at the J Fashion Show on December 22 in Birmingham, England.

Paolita sent its retro-evoking swimsuits down the runway at the event, which J Model Management organizes annually. It was held at the Birmingham Council House.

“We were honored to be selected for the J Fashion Show,” said Anna Paola, creative director of Paolita. “The models were absolutely stunning and the evening was filled with glamour and excitement.”

Paolita’s introductory collection will hit stores in the United States; Britain; France; Germany; Italy; The Netherlands; and Switzerland in late March. According to Paolita’s website, retailers who have picked it up include eight out of the U.S., including Miami-based Essence Boutique, Green Grass and Lace.
