(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). The Calida Group has named Andreas Lindemann general manager of the Calida brand after cited currency-adjusted growth of 5.8 percent during fiscal 2010, effective February 1.
The Swiss manufacturer of intimate apparel under the Calida and Aubade labels will simultaneously promote Thomas Stocklin, director of finance, to C.F.O of the Calida brand, Lindemann’s current position. Felix Sulzberger will continue as C.E.O of the Calida Group.
“We are delighted to have been able to fill these positions with experienced and professional people from within our own ranks and by doing ensure optimum continuity,” said Sulzberger in a statement.
According to the group, by appointing a general manager of Calida it has fulfilled its membership management, which began last year when the company appointed Philippe Bernaud general manager of the Aubade brand.
The group’s positive sales growth last year—which amount to 213.3 million Francs, equivalent to approximately $222.93 million at the current exchange rate—was driven by a 10.6 increase for Aubade. The Calida brand grew by 3.7 percent.
Monobrand store sales drove growth for both brands, the group said, with currency-adjusted and like-for-like sales growth amounting to 19.7 percent for Aubade and 9.6 percent for Calida.
The Calida Group will release its complete annual report for 2010 on February 25.
