(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). Hot Topic Inc. announced Monday that Chris Daniel has resigned from his post as president of the company’s Torrid division.

Following his departure on April 29, Betsy McLaughlin, C.E.O of Hot Topic Inc., will oversee Torrid as the company searches for a replacement. Daniel has worked for Hot Topic’s Torrid division since 2004 and as president since 2006.

Hot Topic Inc. operates 657 Hot Topic stores and 153 Torrid stores in all 50 states, Canada and Puerto Rico.
