(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). Liz Claiborne Inc. announced Friday that Edgar Huber, C.E.O of its Juicy Couture division, will assume the position of executive vice president of global development for Liz Claiborne Inc. on February 14.
Huber will continue to report to William McComb, C.E.O of Liz Claiborne, Inc. LeeAnn Nealz, president and chief creative officer, and John DeFalco, C.F.O and C.O.O, will temporarily manage Juicy Couture while the company determines its leadership structure.
According to McComb, the company is making this change to address international growth ventures. “This move reflects the company’s significant opportunities for global expansion of its key brands, including Juicy Couture, Kate Spade, Lucky Brand Jeans and Liz Claiborne,” he said. “Edgar’s considerable experience in global licensing and business development will bring focused oversight to, and accelerate, our international efforts, many underway already, in 2011.”
McComb added that Juicy Couture grew to 46 retail stores during Edgar’s time leading the division, including four stores in Britain and partnerships in Russia, Brazil, Greece, Spain and the Middle East.
Juicy Couture products include sleepwear, swimwear, activewear, fashion apparel and more.
