(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). In a departure from the glamour of its Roaring Twenties theme for spring/summer 2011, Affinitas has taken next fall/winter’s line in a romantic direction.
The lingerie maker has introduced lines for the season under the Affinitas label, which runs in sizes 30 to 38, A through DD and XS to XL; and Parfait, which runs in sizes 30 to 40, D through G and XS through 2X. The company named both after love-evoking themes; with the Affinitas line titled “Forbidden Romance” and Parfait named “Fairytale.” Both will begin shipping to stores in August.
Signature silhouettes under Forbidden Romance include Belinda, a floral lace bodice embellished with vintage cameo charms and available in shades of rose wood and black; and Chloe’s black bodice with lace-up blue ribbon. Also seen is a seamless bustier under the Allison range, which is made from microfiber and is available in shades of nude or black. Retail prices run from $14 to $64.
In Fairytale, Parfait once again targets fashion-forward, full-busted women with bras, bottoms, bustiers and babydolls in jewel tones and romance-inspired silhouettes. There are six new ranges called Donna, Fiona, Kelly, Tanya, Athena and Evelyn, and two new colorways; Deep Purple and Tango Red. Styles range from basic to flirty, with ruffle and flutter sleeves and lace overlays seen. Retail prices are $14 to $65.
Specialty and online retailers including HerRoom.com and LaurenSilva.com, among others, carry lingerie by Affinitas Intimates.
