(Filed Under wholesale Socks News). GoldToeMoretz has entered into a licensing agreement with Southern Sport Inc. to manufacture, market and sell a sports spat under GoldToe’s PowerSox label, the sock maker announced Wednesday.

The PowerSox product is modeled after the Debris Inhibitor sports spat, a patented nylon outer sleeve designed for wear during sports played on artificial turf fields to keep debris out of shoes and socks. According to GoldToe, it also keeps laces tight, replacing the time and cost of taping, which is known as “spatting,” and protects cleats.

Men, women and children’s styles in sizes M through XL will hit stores in June at $19.99. They will be available in shades of black, white, royal blue and navy.

GoldToeMoretz’ additional licenses include New Balance and Under Armour.
