(Filed Under wholesale Costume News). Rubie’s Masquerade Co. Australia Pty Ltd., the Australian division of Rubie’s Costume Company, has acquired costume company Deerfield Pty Ltd. According to Rubie’s, this deal brings together the country’s “dress-up and costume experts and combines the talents and strengths of two successful companies.”

“Rubie’s is excited to partner with Deerfield Pty and proud to welcome everyone involved with Deerfield into the Rubie’s family,” said Howard Beige, executive vice president. “We look forward to utilizing Rubie’s universal knowledge of the party industry to develop an exceptional line of costumes and accessories in a market with great potential.”

Peter Warton, C.E.O, will head the new company, now called Rubie’s Deerfield Pty Ltd. Tony Bugg will manage the Deerfield/Rubie’s team.

Rubie’s Costume Company is the largest Halloween and Masquerade product manufacturer and distributor globally.
