(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). Intimate apparel maker Delta Galil has appointed Noam Lautman, son of company founder Dov Lautman, chairman of the board.
Lautman has replaced former chairman Gideon Chitayat, who is remaining a member of the board. According to Delta Galil, Chitayat requested to step down because of other engagements.
Lautman, who is the C.E.O of private investment firm 2gether Capital, has been a director for Delta Galil for 10 years, and previously worked as director for strategic planning and new ventures at Teva. He is also the founder and executive member of the Lautman Foundation, an Israel-based nonprofit.
The Lautman family currently holds 10.5 percent of the Delta Galil shares. Dov Lautman founded the company in 1975.
