Both were impacted by the economic recession with attendance markedly down from last year. There were 11,066 total visitors at Interfiliere (January 18-20), down 26 percent from last year's 15,037. 20,254 people attended the Salon International from (January 18-21), down 22 percent from 2008. Highlights included the introduction of business and speed meetings.
The daily "general" fashion show was elegantly presented, as usual, with a vast collection of both women's and men's styles.
