Uniqlo to Open More in NYC


(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). Japan-based Fast Retailing Inc. has announced plans to open a 3,000-square-meter Uniqlo location at 31 W. 34 St. in New York City this fall.

The store will open on the heels of a Uniqlo global flagship at 666 5 Ave. in New York, also opening this fall. The company plans to recruit about 1,000 people to operate these new locations.

When these stores open, the company will operate three Uniqlo locations in New York, including its current store in Soho.
