(Filed Under wholesale Activewear News). Anita International, a 125 intimate apparel maker with U.S. offices in Florida, won this year’s Red Dot Design Award for its Momentum high-level sports bra.
According to Anita, the Red Dot jury selected the Momentum high-level for its support without restriction for women of varied bra sizes during high-impact fitness activities, such as running and jumping rope, as well as for its breathability, moisture-wicking capabilities and comfort.
"As always our jury examined the submitted products extremely critically," said Professor Dr. Peter Zec, initiator of the Red Dot Design Awards. "The quality of [Anita’s] design clearly won through during the judging process and new, truly creative solutions were also rewarded. Both criteria are not only the benchmark for good design but also for potential market success."
On July 4, more than 1,000 guests will applaud this year’s Red Dot winners at the Aalto-Theatre Opera House in Essen, Germany. The Momentum bra and the other designs will then be displayed in a four-week exhibition in the city’s Red Dot Design Museum, which is open to the public.
The Anita Active line also carries sports bras for low and medium-impact exercise, all made of breathable, temperature-regulating material and support for larger busts.
