(Filed Under wholesale Sleepwear News). Health Canada, the Canadian government’s national public health department, has announced the recall of Kirkland Signature children’s sleepwear sets due to flammability risk.

The summer sleepwear sets, manufactured in South Korea through Los Angeles-based company Agabang USA, Inc., consist of a short-sleeve top and shorts in children’s sizes 2 to 10. The sleepwear was available June 2010 through April 2011 at Costco stores across Canada.

Health Canada is aware of one complaint related to the sleepwear sets, which do not meet flammability requirements under Canadian law. No injuries have been reported. Consumers who purchased the affected sleepwear can return the set to Costco Wholesale Canada’s customer service department for a full refund.
