(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). When German-born, London-based designer Frauke Nagel decided to launch her own line, she had a few ideas from her 11 years of experience in the apparel industry: lingerie that is as supportive and comfortable as it is stylish.

Keeping this in mind, Nagel launched three vintage-inspired inaugural collections under her new brand, Fräulein Annie: Falling in Love, Bye Bye Mein Herr and Don’t Say ’Sie.’ The glamorous styles include shapewear options and all designs stay smooth under clothes.

Falling in Love, features eight different styles of bras, panties and shaping briefs made with vintage-inspired lace and satin in color combinations of ivory/pearl gray, blush/red, chestnut/black and tangerine/almond.

The Bye Bye Mein Herr collection, inspired by the opening scene in the film "Cabaret," includes six styles of selvage mesh garments, including bras, briefs, an underbust girdle and thigh-slimming shorts, available in black or almond with ivory grosgrain trim.

The Don’t Say ’Sie’ collection continues Fräulein Annie’s trend of incorporating vintage looks into modern lingerie and shapewear by offering six supportive styles, including a short girdle, shaping briefs and both plunge and fuller-bust bras in a black and gold art deco pattern.

"Fräulein Annie is for modern women who are confident and stylish and like to dress well to feel good," Nagel said. "Women who learned to love their body and know how to dress to their best advantage, regardless of their dress sizes."

Sizes for bras range from 32 to 38, A to G, while panties and shaping garments are available in XS to XXL. Recommended retail prices for the three collections range from $79 to $85 for bras, $52 to $60 for panties and $70 to $96 for shaping briefs. Wholesale prices for US retailers have not been finalized yet, but European wholesale costs range from $28.50 to $30.80 for bras, $18.80 to $21.70 for panties and $25.30 to $34.80 for shaping briefs. There is no minimum order for retailers, but smaller orders may incur higher shipping costs, and all pieces ship from London.

While not yet available in stores in the U.S. or abroad, Fräulein Annie will be available at FigLeaves.com starting in September, in addition to a handful of independent retailers in France, Germany and the United Kingdom.

In addition to the multi-collection debut, Nagel is planning a Fräulein Annie swimwear launch at the Paris Mode City and CurveNY trade shows. The swimwear line, Ahoy Sailor, will be fully reversible. The pieces will feature a dancing sailor pattern on one side with stripes on the reverse, both patterns featuring shades of blue and off-white. The structured bikini tops and bottoms are designed to be mixed and matched.
