(Filed Under retail Lingerie News). Freshpair.com, an online retailer of intimate apparel, announced that company president Michael Kleinmann has stepped down. He is succeeded by company vice president Matthew Butlein.
President since 2001, Kleinmann positioned Freshpair as an industry authority on intimate apparel and contributed to the creation of National Underwear Day, an annual holiday created by Freshpair to promote the appreciation of underwear.
"Ten years ago, I had a vision of how to make Freshpair successful and sustainable, and I have accomplished exactly what I set out to do," Kleinmann said in a statement. "I am excited to move on to the next chapter of my career and am pleased to turn over control to Matthew Butlein, who I have worked with for the past four years. He has led our buying and marketing teams to award-winning results and now he’s ready to take on the company with that same edge and innovation."
Butlein joined as a marketing analyst in 2007 after completing a Harvard education.
Freshpair.com is an online retailer of intimate apparel, shapewear, socks, basics and accessories for men and women.
