(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). Major retail chain H&M opened a new location at Harborplace & The Gallery shopping center in Baltimore, Md.

Located at 301 Light St. in Baltimore’s historic Inner Harbor neighborhood, the 20,000 square foot location carries women’s, men’s, junior’s and children’s apparel as well as accessories, maternity wear and lingerie.

H&M has also announced new store openings at the NorthPark Center in Dallas, Tex. in mid-August and at the Newport Centre Mall in Jersey City, N.J. in late 2011.

H&M was established in Sweden in 1948 and operates approximately 2,200 stores in 40 countries.
